Evidence-informed wellbeing, grounded in education

Glenys Oberg brings 23 years of education experience across three continents, including work as a primary teacher, Head of Curriculum, learning support teacher and qualified Guidance Officer. She is a Queensland registered teacher and university lecturer in educational psychology.

Her research explores educator wellbeing, compassion fatigue, secondary traumatic stress, burnout and trauma-aware education, including a large Australian study of more than 2,000 teachers. Glenys combines research with practical knowledge of classrooms, leadership, learning support and student wellbeing, translating complex evidence into achievable strategies for educators, leaders and whole-school communities.
